The film tells about the fate of a soldier who had fought the Brest fortress in 1941 and fought for protection from the Armenian occupation of Karabakh after 50 years. The protagonist of the film is a participant of two wars. The events in the film reflect the view of the Russian officer in the Karabakh war. Russian captain Vanya, who fights on the Armenians in Karabakh, kills veteran Azeri and then finds the old Azerbaijani sniper's agenda. The Russian officer, who learned that his father fought with the veteran Azer in the Great Patriotic War, endangered his life in order to hand over his body to the Azerbaijani side. At the same time, the events of 1941-45 revived on the screen.
