Alessio Boni was born on July 4, 1966 in Sarnico, Lombardy, Italy. Changed a lot of jobs before becoming a professional actor: at 14, he's been a tiler in his father's business, while taking evening classes; at 20 he was in San Diego (California), as a baby sitter, a newsboy and a dispatch rider. At 22, back in Italy (Rome), he entered the Academy of Dramatic Arts, while working in pizza restaurants as a waiter for a living.
Has two brothers: one of them is a priest, the other one is a tiler.
He is known for La meglio gioventù (2003), Turist (2010) and Arrivederci amore, ciao (2006).
