"Charlie's Angels" are back with a vengeance in the film's first full trailer, released Thursday. In it, Kristen Stewart, "Aladdin" star Naomi Scott and Ella Balinska kick off the glam crime-fighting as private detectives working for the Townsend Agency in the reboot of the 1970s TV series and the 2000 and 2003 movies directed by McG. The preview also features a new song by Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus and Lana Del Rey. The action-packed trailer teases plenty of punches amid punchy one-liners.
"How'd that feel, because it looked like it felt really good" Stewart's Sabina Wilson asks after a montage of combat. "That felt nice," Scott's Elena Houghlin replies. Stewart reveals her own fierce side as well, as her kick-butt character brings violence to villains.
"Who steals humanitarian aid money?" Stewart's character asks between punches to one hapless baddie. In the film's first look teaser on "Entertainment Tonight," Stewart explained the unleashed character passion during an on-location interview from Istanbul. "Something happens when they call action," the actress said. "And you're like, 'I want to kill you.'
The "Charlie's Angels" first look also provided a glimpse at one of the stars playing detective manager Bosley — Patrick Stewart. He's not alone in the job. Director/producer Elizabeth Banks and Djimon Hounsou play other Bosley characters. "Charlie's Angels" will be released Nov. 15.
