Mushfig Khetamov was born on May 6, 1969. The only child of the family. In 1976-1986 he studied high school and entered the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts. Named after M.Aliyev in the drama and film actor faculty. In 1992 he graduated from this institute. In 1987-1989 he served in the army. In 1992-2002, he taught the director and actor at the Baku Cultural and Pedagogical Technical School named after Ahmad Javad. He is the director of almost 100 concerts and television programs. From 2002 to 2006 he was an inspector at the Department of Cinematography of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, since 2006 - Head of the Department of State Cinematography at the Department of Cinematography of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and since 2010 - Deputy Director of the Department of Cinematography. Since December 2011, he has headed the Azerbaijanfilm studio named after J. Jabbarly. He is married.
