Lutfi Mammadbeyov

Lutfi Mammadbeyov was born on February 6, 1927 in Agdash. He studied at the Theater Technique (1943-1947), and the Faculty of Directing at the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical Institute named after M.Aliyev (1961-1966). In 1947, he worked for some time at the Musical Comedy Theater and in the late 40's he was temporarily admitted to the Troupe of the Young Spectator Theater. In 1961, he was invited to the Academic National Drama Theater and worked there until the end of his life. Lutfi Mammadbeyov was the creator of the first TV series of the Azerbijan - Alibala Hajizade's 12-series film "Lost Bride". Lutfi Mammadbeyov was shot in the movies as well “O olmasın, bu olsun”, “Bəxtiyar”, “Qızmar günəş altında”, “Göz həkimi”, “Leyli və Məcnun”, “Sehrli xalat”and other films. The prominent artist died on February 1, 2004 in Baku.
