Teyyub Akhundov was born on January 30, 1920. Akhundov - a participant in the Great Patriotic War. He captured the rare footage of the military chronicle. Teyyub Akhundov came to the film studio "Azerbaijanfilm" at the age of fifteen. Then the studio saw the shooting of the film "Almaz", in this film he worked as an illuminator. Since then, his life has been forever associated with cinema. In 1952 he graduated from the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography, and passed a remarkable school of camera mastery. Teyyub Akhundov made great contributions to Azerbaijani cinematography. Teyyub Akhundov died on December 3, 1991.
