Arif Mirzakuliyev was born on June 6, 1931 in Baku. Originally from the village of Ukur (KIur) of the Kusar district. He only appeared in two films, which later became very popular throughout the Soviet Union: "Meeting" in 1955 and in a musical film based on the same musical comedy by Soviet composer Uzeyir Hajibeyov "Not That, This One" of 1956. He lived all his life in the city of Baku, working as a doctor. He died at the age of 64, buried in Baku.
