Siyavush Shafiev was born on September 1, 1937 year. Already in his school years, engaged in boxing, S.Shafiev made great strides in the sport, won prizes in various competitions. He was tremendously complex, a kind of muscular handsome man, which could not help playing his part in his life. Undoubtedly, Siyavush was a fully talented person. Once in the school circle of amateur performance he successfully played Famusov and many other characteristic roles. On him, the only son in the family, of course, had high expectations. And no one could even imagine that, leaving for Moscow just to take a walk, for the summer holidays, Siyavush suddenly decided to file his documents with the All-Union Circus College. At that time it was the only circus school in the country. He was enrolled in the faculty of acrobatics and balancing act. This was the beginning of his artistic career. At the end of the circus school, he is sent to the Soyuzhsotsirka system. The older generation probably remembers the remarkable program of that time performed by artists Shurov and Rykunin. So, it was with them in one team that he subsequently performed. They toured various cities of the former Union and everywhere, wherever they went, they were waiting for success and recognition.
