Habib Ismayilov was born on February 21, 1906 in Nakhchivan, Azerbaijan. Azerbaijani film director and the screenwriter. In 1931 I graduated from director's and actor's faculties of GITIS, and in 1954 — a teatrovedchesky postgraduate study. In 1931 — 1943 I was the artistic director of theaters in Baku, Kirovobada and Makhachkala. I was an acting skills teacher in the Baku conservatory and in theatrical school of M. Akhundov (the artistic director in 1940 — 1941). In 1943 — 1966 — on the Baku film studio (since 1960 — Azerbaijanfilm) where "Azerbaijan Decorated with an order" shot documentaries, in particular, plots for a newsreel. Since 1946 — the dubbing director of movies in Azerbaijani. The member of the CPSU since 1930.
