Andrei Faith was born in Nizhny Novgorod on August 16 (29), 1903. In Russia, Andrei studied at the Institute for an air fleet engineer. He graduated from the State Institute of Cinematography (1927), worked in the theater- film actor. In the movie, he was shot since 1924 (the film "The Doves' Mansion") until the end of his life. Even in his youth, Veit published his collection of poems "Cascades of Passion". Invited to speak in the circle of the first imagists on behalf of Ke-Ke-Si, Andrei met Marienhof, Shershenevich, Kusikov and Yesenin remembered as "the main villain of Soviet cinema", an unsurpassed performer of the roles of various antagonists: from foreign spies and enemy officers to evil sorcerers. From 1928 to 1930 he was married to a famous actress Galina Kravchenko. The second wife - Maria N. Briling. Andrei Faith died on January 16, 1976 in Moscow.
