Elie Chouraqui was born on July 3, 1950 in Paris, France. İn 1978 he made his debut as film director and producer in film “My first love”. In 1975, Churaki made his debut as a screenwriter, writing a script for the film "Once Upon time in the Holiday ". He is a writer and director, known for Harrison's Flowers (2000), Qu'est-ce qui fait courir David? (1982) and Les menteurs (1996).
