Isa Huseynov born april 12, 1928 in Gazakh, Azerbaijan SSR, TSFSR, USSR (now Qazax, Azerbaijan). After graduating from high school in 1945, he entered the Azerbaijan Medical University, but four months later left him and returned to his native village. Subsequently, he graduated from the Faculty of Philology of Baku State University and in 1952 - Literary Institute. A. M. Gorky. In 1952-1954 he worked as an editor in the Azerbaijan State Publishing House, in 1960-1964 - as an editor in the newspaper Literary Azerbaijan. Member of the CPSU since 1958. In 1964-1968 he was the editor-in-chief at the Azerbaijanfilm film studio, in 1964-1968 he was the editor, in 1974-1979 he was a member of the scriptwriters council, from 1979 he became the editor-in-chief of the Cinematography Committee of the Azerbaijan SSR.
