Menderes Samancilar was born on May 1, 1954 - Adana, Turkey. Menderes Samancilar was born the eighth child in the family. He dropped out of high school back in first grade. Menderes Samancilar got a job as a worker in a textile factory. While working at the factory, he read books from a library of authors such as Anton Chekhov, Ryfat Ylgaz and Yashar Kemal. Until 1998, the actor starred in nearly eighty films. Of these, there were four main roles. In 1999, Menderes Samancilar ran for Adana from the Freedom and Solidarity Party.
