Jung Jae Il is a Korean musician, composer, and music director who began his music career in his teens and has since become recognized in the industry as a man of wide-ranging talents. His big break came for music director for Okja in 2017, a movie directed by acclaimed director Bong Joon Ho and with a matching Hollywood cast including Tilda Swindon and Jake Gyllenhall. It seems that Jung Jae Il won the heart of the famous director as their first collaboration is followed by a close second, with Jung Jae Il directing the music for Bong Joon Ho’s next film Parasite, releasing in 2019.
