Weinstein Alexander Lvovich (born September 1, 1953) is a well-known Russian producer and journalist, TV presenter, engineer. The founder of the Kremlin Cup tennis tournament. The son of a major Soviet engineer Lev Vainshtein. In 1976 he graduated from the Moscow Institute of Radio Engineering, Electronics and Automation. From 1976 to 1986 - engineer at the Moscow Electric Lamp Plant (MELZ). From 1986 to 1989 - Director DK "MELZ". In 1988, he organized at the MELZ recreation center the premiere of Sergei Solovyov’s film "ACCA." In 1989-1991. - Commercial Director and author of the weekly Moscow News. From 1990 to 1995 - General Director of the Kremlin Cup tennis tournament. From 1995 - President of the Moscow News Information and Publishing Company. From 1996 to November 1998 - member of the Executive Committee of the Russian Football Union ( RFU). From 1997 to 1998, he was the author, lead and producer of the weekly journalistic program Century of Football on NTV channel. Since 1998, he was the author and host of the Football in Dialogs program on TV Center. Since 1998, he has been Director General of the Academy of one press. From March 2000 to 2001 - author and host of the Football + TV program on RTR channel. Since 2002, Director General of IMG Media. Winner of the TEFI Award for Best Sports Program. Producer of the first Russian musical Metro, as well as successful theater projects Notre-Dame de Paris and Romeo and Juliet. For a long time he was a freelance correspondent for the newspaper Sovetsky Sport.
