Mukhtar Gambar oglu Maniyev (April 4, 1935, Baku, Azerbaijan SSR - December 22, 2016, Baku, Azerbaijan) is a Soviet and Azerbaijani actor. He played about 150 roles in Azerbaijani cinema. Mostly he starred in episodic roles. People's Artist of Azerbaijan (2000). He graduated from Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts. The acting debut took place in 1960 in the film “Korogly” by Husein Seyidzade. He also appeared on television in the TV programs “Gadfly” (“Mozalan”) (a satirical television magazine), “Kinoclub” on AzTV.
