Ayan Mirgasimova (aze.Ayan Mirqasımova) -  is Azerbaijani television, film and stage actress. She was named Honoured artist of Azerbaijan Republic in 2000 and People’s artist of Azerbaijan Republic 17 years later. Ayan Oktay gizi Mirgasimova was born May 5th, 1969 in Baku. She finished the School of Choreography in 1986. Studied acting at Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography through 1986-1990. Has been working at Azerbaijan State Russian Drama Theatre since 1991. Ayan is daughter of famous Azerbaijani director and screenwriter, Oktay Mirgasimov. She is better known for: Ovsunçu (2003), Firestarter (Araqarışdıran, 1987), Günaydın, mələyim (Good morning, darley, 2008).
