Harri Mellinq Londonda anadan olub. O, 1960-cı illərin sonlarında Doctor Who elmi-fantastik serialında İkinci Doktor rolunu oynamış aktyor Patrik Troughtonun nəvəsidir. Mellinq 2001-2009-cu illərdə Harri Potter filmlərində Dadli Dursli rolunda çəkilib. 2009-cu ildə o, Harri Potter filmlərində anası Petuniya Durslini canlandıran Fiona Şou ilə birlikdə "Ana Cəsarət və Onun Uşaqları"nın remeykində Milli Gənclər Teatrında debüt etdi. 2010-cu ildə BBC-nin "Merlin" teleserialının "Sehrbazın kölgəsi" bölümündə Gill rolunu oynayıb və "Just William" serialında Robert Braun rolunu oynayıb.
