Elmira Shabanova was born on November 1, 1940 in Baku. 1962-1997 worked as a teacher and associate professor. She actdet in about 30 feature films "Azerbaijanfilm" film studio. The actress did not appear in the movie until 1977 with the prohibition of her husband Rufat Shabanov after she was filmed in 2 films. In 1977, the actress returned to the cinema with the short film " Bədbəxtliyin astanasında ", she created interesting images in movies, radio and television, especially in the 1980s. Among them Hamida Shabanova’s image plays an important role in the film " Qəm pəncərəsi ", directed by Anar.
