Kamran Mursal oglu Gasimov was born in Baku. He graduated from the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts with a degree in television directing (2000-2004) and a master's degree in screenwriting (2005-2007). Assistant director and director at the Azerbaijan State Youth Theater (2003-2005), screenwriter and director at the Mozalan film magazine (2005), at the Union of Cinematographers of Azerbaijan (2005-2008), editor-in-chief of the Art and Journalism Department of ANS Independent Broadcasting and Media Company (2008- 2009), worked at Space TV as the General Director of Bakufilm Film Company (2009).
