Philip Barantini – British/American actor. He was born July 13, 1980 in Liverpool, England, UK. At the age of 12, Philip went on a guided tour of the Granada studios in Manchester and from that moment he knew he wanted to be part of the Film/TV industry!After leaving school at 16, Philip started working in a clothes shop in Liverpool city center. During this time, Philip was auditioning for several TV and theatre jobs, landing his first big role on a BBC Drama called 'Big Cat' where he played DAVID MORRISEY as a 15-year-old child. At 17 he landed the role of "Billy O'Neill' in Sky One's "Dream Team," Moving him from Liverpool to London.Two and a half years later he swapped his football boots for Army boots securing the role of Wayne "Skinny" Sisk in the HBO mini-series "BAND OF BROTHERS" Produced and Directed by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks. From there Philip spent 5 months in Australia playing one of the lead roles in UNIVERSAL PICTURES 'Ned Kelly' Starring the late Heath Ledger, Naomi Watts, Joel Edgerton, Orlando Bloom, And Geoffrey Rush. After many years of acting and working with people like Kenneth Brannagh, Jonny Lee Miller, Andy Serkis, Bernard Hill, Andrea Corr, Colm Meaney, Emily Browning, John Hannah, Kara Tointon and Hannah Tointon to name a few. Philip decided he wanted to try his hand at producing and directing. Since 2014 Philip has produced 2 short films and 1 feature with several exciting projects in the pipe line.
