Tofik Mirzoev was born on June 16, 1932. Honored Artist of the Azerbaijan SSR (1976). In 1964 he graduated from the Azerbaijan Conservatory. In the cinema since 1969. He directed several films on the Azerbaijani television: "Songs of Absheron" (1969), "Symphony by Nizami" (1970), "Singer from the People" (1979), etc.
