Biography

Mammad Safa was born on July 25, 1960 in Davachi. From 1977 to 1980 he studied at the Baku cultural-educational technical school. After graduating from the technical school he worked at Shabran House of Culture. He has continued his career since 1985 as a prominent theatrical figure, Vagif Ibrahimoglu, at the Teaching Theater. He started his film career in 1995 with the film "Mabhus" and created his most beautiful role in the "Javid Lifetime" film, which he played as a negative hero in 2007. He is currently the actor of "Yugh" Theater. He works at the University of Fine Arts as a senior teacher. He was awarded the Presidential Award on May 9, 2012, April 30, 2014, May 6, 2015, May 6, 2015, and May 1, 2017. He is married and has two children.
