Biography

Matthew Broderick (born March 21, 1962) is an American actor and singer. His roles include the character's title on Ferris Buller's Day (1986), Simba's adult voice in the trilogy The Lion King in Disney (1994-2004), David Laitman in the War of the War action movie (1983) and Leo Bloom on Broadway producer production. Broderick won two Tony Awards, one for Best Best Actor at the Games for Brighton Memorials (1983), and one for Best Actor in Musical for How to Succeed in Business, Without Really Trying (1995). As of 2016, Broderick is the youngest winner of the Tony Award for Best Best Actor in Play. In 2006, for his contribution to the film industry, Matthew Broderick was introduced to the Hollywood Walk of Fame with a movie star located on Hollywood Boulevard 6801. Eleven years later, Broderick was inducted into the Hall of Fame of the American Theater.
