Daniel Lopatin (born July 25, 1982), best known by the recording alias Oneohtrix Point Never (also styled 0PN), is an American composer and producer of experimental electronic music born in Massachusetts. He began recording under the moniker in the mid-2000s after becoming involved in Brooklyn's noise scene, drawing on synthesizer music and '80s new age tropes. He received initial acclaim for the 2009 compilation Rifts, which collected his early limited LP and cassette releases. Lopatin explored different stylistic approaches on subsequent albums such as Replica (2011), R Plus Seven (2013) and Garden of Delete (2015), and signed to British electronic label Warp in 2013. He has also participated in several side projects, including the duo Ford & Lopatin and his influential alias Chuck Person, as well as a number of film scores and collaborations with artists such as Anohni, Ishmael Butler, David Byrne, FKA Twigs, and Tim Hecker.
