Evgeny Aleksandrovich Bedarev (born June 3, 1974, Barnaul) is a Russian film director, screenwriter, television and radio host. After graduation, he entered the Barnaul State Pedagogical University at the Faculty of History. Starting from the second year, for three years, he worked as a counselor in the All-Union Exhibition Center "Ocean". After graduation, he worked as editor-in-chief and presenter of the Barnaul television channel "TV Plus", all programs of which were broadcasted live. Together with his colleagues, Evgeny Bedarev invented and launched an interactive game "The Purse of Fortune". Since 1999 he worked as a DJ and editor-in-chief of Radio Uniton, since 2000 as a producer of the Altai State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company. In 2003 he moved to Moscow, where in 2005 year he graduated from the Higher Courses for Scriptwriters and Directors (workshop of Alla Surikova and Vladimir Fokin), for some time filmed clips, worked in the film crew of the film "Male Season: Velvet Revolution", filming a film about the film, and creating commercials and film trailers. Bedarev's debut directorial work was the picture "Waiting for a Miracle" 2007) - the first project of the film company "XX Century Fox" on the Russian market. The next picture was the New Year comedy "New Year's Tariff" 2008).
