Alexei Alexandrovich Korenev (May 2, 1927, Moscow - February 26, 1995, Moscow) - Soviet director. Honored Art Worker of the Dagestan ASSR (1971). Member of the CPSU since 1958. Father of actress Elena Koreneva. Born in Moscow for the benefit of the family of Alexandra Alekseevich and Marie Alekseevna Korenev. In 1951 Korenev graduated from the faculty of directing VGIK. As a director-director, he made his debut in 1959 with the lyrical comedy "Chernomorochka," which the Soviet press exposed to harsh criticism "for bourgeois frivolity."
