Samandar Rzayev (2 January 1945, Agsu (city), Azerbaijan SSR – 27 March 1986, Baku, Azerbaijan SSR) was an Azerbaijani actor and Honored Artist of Azerbaijan SSR (1974), laureate of the State Prize of Azerbaijan SSR (1980). The last year of the institute he was accepted to the troupe of Azerbaijan State Academic National Drama Theatre with the invitation of Tofig Kazimov in 1968. His first role was Horatio (Hamlet). Samandar Rzayev died in Baku, 27 March 1986 Azerbaijan Soviet Socialist Republic.
