Meredith Thomas spent her early childhood in Barrow, Alaska, the most northernmost settled village in North America. Her parents taught Native American Eskimos above the Arctic Circle for the Bureau of Native Affairs. Later in her childhood she moved to the Great Island of New Castle off the coast of New Hampshire. Meredith's first professional acting role as Tessie in "Annie" came while still in elementary school and she continued to act in summer stock productions throughout her childhood. She distinguished herself in high school receiving accolades at several New Hampshire and New England Drama Festivals. She briefly attended the University of New Hampshire on a theater scholarship, but soon headed west securing a role in her first big budget feature film, Pleasantville and hasn't stopped working in film and television since. Meredith has studied and performed improv with Comedy Sportz at The National Comedy Theater in LA and taught improv at TVI Actors Studio. As a stand up comic, Meredith has made numerous appearances at the Hollywood Improv, on The World Famous Comedy Store's Main Stage, Las Vegas at the Sunset Station Casino, and at Improv Olympic West. She was a featured comic the 4th Annual Woman Leadership Conference at The House of Blues, West Hollywood, was a Finalist in The Tickled Pink Comedy Tour with the Gals of Mad TV at the Laugh Factory, and a TOP Four Finalist for The Funniest Comic in the City-LA, Season 2.
