Ilya Mikhailovich Maksimov (February 9, 1970, Kronshtadt, USSR) - Russian artist, animator and animated film director. In 1993 he graduated from St. Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering (SPbGASU) with a degree in architecture. In the same year he entered the courses of animation artists at the Animation Magic studio (Capitol Multimedia, Us.), Where he studied with the directors of animated films Alexander Makarov and Rinat Gazizov. He worked there as a leading animator until 1995. In 1995, he received an invitation to the animation studio of Rinat Gazizov, where he participated as an animator and storyboard artist in the creation of many animated commercials, as well as animated music videos for Russian pop stars such as F. Kirkorov, N. Koroleva, A. Varum, M. Shufutinsky, Professor Lebedinsky and others.
