Milan Peschel (born 1968) is a German actor. He appeared in more than fifty films since 1999. Milan Peschel graduated as a theater carpenter at the Deutsche Staatsoper Berlin and worked until 1991 as a stage technician at the Volksbühne Berlin. Peschel attended the Academy of Dramatic Arts "Ernst Busch". He was a member of the ensemble at the Volksbühne Berlin from 1997 to 2008 and has appeared there in many productions by the directors Frank Castorf and Dimiter Gotscheff; From 2001 to 2003 he was a guest at the Thalia Theater Hamburg. Since 2007, Peschel has directed as a director at the Maxim Gorki Theater in Berlin and at the Theater an der Parkaue. Milan Peschel has been involved as a speaker in many radio drama productions, in particular under the direction of Paul Plamper. Peschel was awarded the Bavarian Film Prize 2011 and the German Film Prize 2012. Peschel is the father of two children, one son (* 1999) and one daughter (* 2001).
