Arkadiy Strugatskiy was born on August 28, 1925 in Batumi, Georgian SSR, Transcaucasian SFSR, USSR. He was a writer and actor, known for Сталкер (1979), Отель 'У погибшего альпиниста' (1979) and Обитаемый остров (2009). He died on October 12, 1991 in Moscow, USSR. All his famous works are written in cooperation with his brother Boris Strugatskiy. He had also his own works, published under name 'S. Yaroslavtsev'. Survivor of the Siege of Leningrad during WWII.
