Vyacheslav Gennadievich Butusov (born October 15, 1961, Russian SFSR), is a Russian singer and songwriter. He was the lead singer of Nautilus Pompilius and U-Piter. He also has his own solo career as a singer and songwriter. Vyacheslav Butusov was born in Krasnoyarsk. Because of his father's profession, he lived and studied in different places of Siberiaduring his early life. While Butusov was in the ninth grade, they moved to Sverdlovsk (today Yekaterinburg), where he later studied in the Sverdlovsk Architectural Institute. He participated in the design of the Sverdlovsk Metro.
