Aunt Jannet is an imperious and old-fashioned matriarch of a simple family consisting of herself, her son Ayaz, a talented composer, his wife Sevda, a dentist, and their little son Aslan. Sevda is a modest exemplary daughter-in-law, who can not please her captious mother-in-law. Unable to bear her oppression, Sevda once asks Ayaz to take her out of this house.
