Harvey Frost is best known as a comedy, romantic comedy, family, and family-friendly director. His work has won or been nominated for numerous awards. "Incident At Vernon River", one of many episodes of Avonlea directed by Frost, won that series its Emmy; "National Lampoon's Golf Punks" won a WorldFest Silver Star; "Two Of Hearts" was nominated for the Leo Best Picture Award; etc. He is known as an actors' director and many members of his casts have won or been nominated for awards for their work with him, including a Golden Globe nomination for Ernest Borgnine ("A Grandpa For Christmas"), an Emmy nomination for Maureen Stapleton (Avonlea), etc. Harvey Frost was born in London, England. A champion school and college athlete rowing crew, he started his film career in London, before moving to Toronto, Canada, and subsequently to Los Angeles. He now lives in Pacific Palisades, California, where he is single parent to his 12-year-old twins who live with him full time, and their very old Golden Retriever. He also has two daughters who live nearby.
