Alexander Boguslavsky was born in Moscow in 1989 in a family of cinematographers. In 2011 he graduated from the All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography. S.A. Gerasimov (VGIK).

He is the director of the first season of the series "Survive after" (Art Pictures Vision, 2013-2016) - the most popular Russian youth series about a group of teenagers in post-apocalyptic Moscow. The series has a huge fan of teenagers and a high spectator rating (8.5 MPs, 7.5 imdb) and a fantastic mini-series "Immersion" for the TV channel Russia 2.
As the second director of the second unit, he took part in the shooting of a large-scale military historical film "Stalingrad." Since 2016 he has been working as a director and creative producer of the film company "Kinodanz".
