Aladdin Abbasov – is an Azerbaijani television, stage and film actor. He was born May 5th, 1922 in city of Ganja. He began studying acting at the age of fifteen, after admission to the studio under  Ganja State Drama Theatre. Prior to graduation he took part in various local plays. Had been the member of Ganja Statte Drama Theatre’s Company since 1939. He shared the stage with brilliant azerbaijani actors like, Ashraf Yusifzadeh, Ramziyya Veysalova, Mahammad Burjaliyev, Zulfugar Baratzadeh, etc. Aladdin Abbasov achieved acclaim and recognition for his breakthrough role as Jahanda aga in The Invincible Kura (1969). Actor died July 13, 2014 at age of 92.
