Donato Carrisi was born on March 25, 1973 in Martina Franca, Apulia, Italy. Donato Carrisi studied law and criminology. Since 1999 he has been working as a TV screenwriter. The Whisperer, Carrisi’s first novel, won him five international literary prizes, has been sold in nearly twenty territories and has been translated into languages as varied as French, Danish, Hebrew and Vietnamese. Carrisi lives in Rome.He is a writer and director, known for La ragazza nella nebbia (2017), Caccia al re - La narcotici (2011) and Nassiryia - Per non dimenticare (2007).
