Filippo Scicchitano was born in Rome on October 13, 1993. At the age of 16 he started his film career. While accompanying a friend to audition, he sees the director Francesco Bruni, and after a series of plays gives him the role of Luca Colombo in Sialla! (Stay calm). This movie received the highest number of awards among Italian films for 2011. After the film Filippo Scicchitano starred with Nery Marcore, Bianca Balti in a series of commercials for TIM. In the same year he starred in the film Un giorno speciale Francesca Comencini. In 2014 he played the role of Fabio in the film Ferzana Ozpetek "Buckle Up". In the same year, he played a major role with Luca Marinelli in the film Alessandro Lunardelli. In 2015, he took part in the mini-series "Paradise" directed by Giulio Manfredonia. In the same year he played in the mini-series "Il Contin" directed by Carlo Carly, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Italy's entry into the First World War, hero Bruno. The series was broadcast in 2017. In 2016, he appeared on the screen as the protagonist in the film "Non unu un paese per giovani" directed by Giovanni Veronesi.
