Biography

Huseynaga Sadigov was born on March 21, 1914 in Baku. Since 1931, the actor has played in the Azerbaijan State Theater of the Young Spectator. Sadygov worked for more than 50 years in this theater. His career began with the images of Horuz Baba and Piri Baba. His favorite roles were the role of Selim from the play "Anadzhan", the role of Truffaldino from "The Servant of Two Masters". the role of Truffaldino from "The Servant of Two Masters". For the role of Mirpasha from the Komsomol poem, Sadygov was awarded the Republican Prize of the Leninist Komsomol. Being on the front during the Great Patriotic War, Huseynaga Sadigov, during the breaks, collected soldiers and arranged various performances. He was twice seriously wounded, but reached Berlin and returned from the front with the Order "Red Star". In addition to the theater, Sadigov starred in such films as "My wife, my children", "Apple as an apple", "Bread equally", "The Magic lamp of Aladdin", "Four Sundays", "Magic robe", etc. Sadygov starred in more than 30 films, many of his roles were episodic. The last film, in which Sydagov appeared, is called "Grandfather of our grandfather's grandfather". Here he played the main role. July 1, 1956 Huseynaga Sadigov was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Azerbaijan SSR, and February 9, 1979 - the title of People's Artist of the Azerbaijan SSR. The actor died in Baku on February 23, 1983.
