Felix Fuchssteiner

Felix Fuchssteiner (22nd of August, 1975 in Paderborn) has grown up in Germany and the USA. From 1992 to 1996 he was a free journalist for the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. He had regular publications, among the rest, in: The time, photo magazine, Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung.
From 1995 he finished a directorial study at the college for television and film Munich which he concluded in 2003 with the short film The curve. The co-production with the Bavarian broadcasting company and Taking won numerous prizes. In 1997 he founded the company Mem film Ltd.
In 2004 he worked as a director with forbidden love.
In 2008 he turned the film Outdoors the lake which was shown in 2009 on the film festival Munich as a premiere and won there the conveyor prize German film for the best production and the best actress.
In 2013 the much notable fantasy filming came Ruby-red to the cinemas. The continuations sapphire blue (August, 2014) and emerald green (2016) followed.
