Gina Wendkos was born October 2, 1954 in Florence, Italy. But she is an American writer, theater director and screenwriter. Gina Wendkos studied art in the second half of the 1970s and graduated with a Master of Fine Arts in Painting. Subsequently, she engaged in sometimes large-scale theater productions (including at New York's La Mama Experimental Theater), which sometimes participated in more than 200 actors, and supervised several off-Broadway performances, often by the Public Art Fund or the National Endowment for the Arts were funded.
