Biography

Nikolaj Lie Kaas was born on May 22, 1973 year. The parents of Nicholas Preben Kos and Anne-Marie Lee were actors. Nicholas Lee Kos debuted in cinema at the age of seventeen as a young Resistance fighter in the war film Søren Krag-Jacobsen "The Boys from St. Petri". For this film he received both Danish film awards "Bodil" and "Robert" for the best supporting actor. In 1998, he graduated from the Danish National School of Theater and played in the "Idiots" Lars von Trier, again receiving the "Bodil" award for the role of the second plan. Later, Lee Kos successfully alternated roles in comedy and serious productions, starring in such directors as Suzanne Beer, Anders Thomas Jensen and Christoffer Boe, repeatedly received Danish film awards.
