Emmanuel D'Orlando
Composer
Emmanuel d'Orlando studied at the CNR Rueil-Malmaison where he obtained in 2002 a first prize for composition, orchestration and analysis unanimously, and first prize for harmony CNSM Paris.
Since that day, he has been sharing his time between contemporary creation and music in the image.
He also collaborated with the composer Eric Neveux from 2006 to 2011. He also collaborates with Fred Avril on films such as Connasse, princess of the hearts of Noémie Saglio, also with Laurent Perez Del Mar on the movie Jamel Debbouze.
Christophe Honoré (in collaboration with Alex Beaupain and named in the category "best music" for the 2008 Césars), The Other World by Gilles Marchand, Popular (named in the "Best Music" "Category for the 2013 Césars", Benoit Mariage's Zebra Stripes, Jonathan's Helpert's House of Time or Siril's Florent Emilio Complete Board. He just finished the B.O of Audrey Dana's next film If I was a man.
He is also responsible for the arrangements of Sébastien Tellier's famous Ritournelle, with whom he collaborates regularly, as in the movie Saint Amour by Gustave Kervern and Benoît Delépine.
Emmanuel also works for luxury. In 2008, he wrote ballet music for Cartier on a choreography by Blanca Li. In January 2014, he and Sebastian Tellier put together the music of the Chanel show at the Grand Palais. Since 2016, he composes and arranges the music of the Balmain fashion shows.
He also composes for advertising including L'Oréal (2008 extension), Lexus, etc.
In 2011, he won the Beaumarchais scholarship for his opera The Monster on a libretto by Agota Kristof.
