Aisling Franciosi (born June 6, 1993, Dublin) is an Irish actress. She is best known for her roles as Lyanna Stark in the television series Game of Thrones and Claire Carroll in the film The Nightingale.
Biography
She was born on June 6, 1993 in Dublin. Father is Italian, mother is Irish. Ashling has two older brothers and a younger sister. Studied at Trinity College.
She made her debut on television in 2012 with a cameo role in the series “Little Things”. In 2015, she received the Irish Film and Television Awards in the category “Best Supporting Drama Actress” for her role in the series “The Fall,” in which she starred from 2013-2016. In 2015, she starred in the TV series “Legends”. Then in 2016-2017 she played the role of Lyanna Stark in 2 episodes of the series “Game of Thrones”.
In 2019, she was awarded the AACTA Award for her leading role in the film The Nightingale.
