He starred in a number of French-language and English-language films, known for his roles in the films Frank (2014), Paris. City of the Dead (2014), Call of the Wolf (2019). He was twice nominated for the Cesar award (in 2009 and 2012), in 2019 he received the Discovery of the Year award at the Cannes Film Festival. He played d'Artagnan in the film adaptation The Three Musketeers (2023).
