Letitia Michelle Wright (born 31 October 1993) is a Guyanese-British actress.
Biography
Letitia Michelle Wright was born in Georgetown, Guyana. At the age of seven, she moved to London with her family. Her interest in acting was sparked after she watched the movie The Trial of Akeelah, deciding that the main character was a positive role model. She wrote letters to various agents describing her acting experience until she was cast in small roles.
Her role in My Brother the Devil was noticed by Screen International magazine, who named her among the stars of the future in 2012. For her role as Jamie Harrison in City Anthem, Wright was nominated for a British Independent Film Award in the Most Promising Debut category.
She starred in a series of science fiction TV series Doctor Who (Behold the Raven) and Black Mirror (Black Museum). She landed the role of Shuri in Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War. Wright also appeared as a rebel in the 2018 film Ready Player One.
