Andrei Alekseevich Zhegalov (May 27, 1964, Tashkent, Uzbek SSR - January 25, 2007, Moscow, Russia) - Russian cameraman, laureate of the State Prize of the Russian Federation (2003). In 1991 he graduated from the camera department of VGIK, since 1990 he worked at the Lenfilm studio. The first major work was “The Castle” (dir. Alexei Balabanov). He died in his 43rd year from a heart attack on January 25, 2007. He was buried in the Khovansky cemetery.
