Selda Cicek is a Turkish director, screenwriter and producer. She was born in 1972 in Antakya, Hatay. She studied at the Literature Department of the Faculty of Language, History and Geography of Ankara University. However, she left university and moved to Istanbul. There, Selda worked as an assistant director in a number of films and series. She is better known for her work on: "İncir Çekirdeği" (2009), "Eşkiya" (1996), "Gölge" (2008).
