Iris Böhm was born on May 28, 1967 in Rolandswerth, Remagen, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. She is an actress, known for Die Sitte (2002), Die Sitte (2001) and So weit die Füße tragen (2001). After graduating from high school, she lived in South Africa for a while. Was trained to be a Waldorf School educator. Studied acting at the Hochschule für Schauspielkunst "Ernst Busch" in Berlin from 1991 to 1995. Has performed on stage at many important theaters in Germany and Austria such as Berliner Volksbühne or Schauspiel Frankfurt. Has two sons, Anton and Johann.
